ImageLa Habra’s Marcus Wimberly qualified to go on in the high jump, while Sonora’s Enrique Vasques qualified in the long and triple jump with a third place finish in both.

La Habra’s Michelle Clark.won the 800 in 2:25.26 will advance as will Katelyn Rogers who finished in second place. Sarah Pfaff and Chelsea Biddle  from La Habra will both be running the 3200 at CIF Prelims.

Sonora’s MacKensie Mummert won the Discus with a 111’11” throw and La Habra’s Shelly Pine placed second. Sonora’s Kissha Miles finished third in the shot put.


La Habra’s Will Parsons shattered the Freeway League record for the discus by 14’ when he threw 172’03”. The old Imagerecord was 158’01” set in 2007 by Tom Arnold. Parsons also finished second in the shot put and will throw both at CIF Prelims.
